Flowers and Painting is a new stage play in one act, which I wrote this year.
It has a small cast – one female, two male – and simple staging. It can be difficult to find Christian stage plays with contemporary settings, so I hope this will be helpful. It’s free to download and use: for workshops, or performance.
A brief synopsis: In Scene 1, a brother and sister meet again after many years of separation due to their father’s terrible mistakes. They begin to piece together the past. In Scene 2, they track down their dad, and all three have to face that past, and the way forward.
It looks at issues of drug use, from a Christian perspective, and contains themes of forgiveness and rebuilding family.
